I’m thrilled to announce my arrival at Catamount Ventures. Catamount was founded in 2000 by Jed Smith and is based in San Francisco. The Catamount team are entrepreneurs first and investors second, so I fit right in!

I first got to know Catamount while working as a Venture Partner at Bridgescale, a Growth Equity investment firm on Sand Hill Road. I led the Series A2 investment in Catamount portfolio company Nest Collective and joined the Nest Board of Directors in 2008. For several years I’ve been working alongside Jed to help grow the business into one of the healthiest and fastest growing food businesses in the country.

The mix of early stage technology investing combined with consumer packaged goods investments focused on sustainability and wellness provides unique differentiation for Catamount, and this was a big attraction for me. I’m passionate about the idea of combining breakthrough technology and environmental stewardship to create new kinds of high-impact, transformative companies. I’m fortunate to have the chance to do that as part of the Catamount team.
